liquor time

with the beer thread being mentioned lately I figured I would start a liquor thread, mostly because I don't do beer because of a hiatal hernia. so who likes to drink what? I myself am a rum guy, fine and aged preferably. zaya, pyrat xo reserve, mount gay extra old, and appleton 21 are some of the fav's.

Vodka Grey Goose, Belvedere, and now Svedka (half the price of the other 2 and just as smooth and no hang overs)

Tequila Corralejo or Patron

I personally don't like that one :p to each is own :D

Being from Kentucky, it's Bourbon for me.

Blanton's, Booker's, 1792, Pappy Van Winkle's Grand Reserve, Woodford Reserve, just to name a few. I like premium tequila as well. Don Julio, Patron, Caba Waba.

Russian Standard for vodka (best bang for the buck, 28 a handle and it tastes like watered down Stoli)

Flor De Cana for light rum (mojitos), Appletons for dark rum (V/X is the best bang for the buck)

Not a tequila guy, but I do like Don Julio if someone else is buying.

Remy Martin is good once in a while too.

Scotch for me!!!

From Single Malts to blends...I love em all.

Give me a Glen, any Glen and I'm a happy man. Though my favorite is Macallan.

However, on a hot day with a Corona nothing beats a shot of good tequila...

I used to be a Patron drinker (straight up) in 2006, but stopped drinking the hard stuff since I got messed up one night.

I do like capt, crown, gray goose, southern comfort.. pretty much stuck with the same drinks.

try the flor de cana 12 year it's wonderful. how far up the appleton line have you gone? I do agree appleton is a great line of rums especially for the price.

What I'm drinking revolves around the season change up here.

Summer in the garage, a cold beer is nice, and that can be a few different ones. Alexander Keiths, Fort Garry Dark, Guinness, Bud Light, etc. I also like going to our local LC and just sampling stuff from other countries.

Winter is almost exclusively rye, CC, Wisers, Crown, R&R, almost any whiskey.

Can't believe I forgot about Scotch.

Macallan 15 for me, please.

I'm working on a bottle of Macallan 10 now, but over this past holiday season I treated myself to a bottle of Macallan 15... BE-U-T-FUL!!!

I keep a variety going.

-Tequila

-Yager

-Vodka

-Southern Comfort

Mix them with what you want and they almost always taste great.

I did a blind taste test between Glenlivet and Macallan and Glen tasted better but it is all about personal preference.

Too bad I cannot trade my 90% full Mac for some detailing supplies. Never goes bad and do not need to shake before using.

When it comes to liquor, I drink scotch on the rocks exclusively. I'm not fussy; it's usually Dewar's or Famous Grouse, maybe Johnny Black Label if I'm feeling wealthy that day!
