I've gone through several bottles. IME, it is pretty decent stuff as far as one step cleaner/wax products go. It does a number on tar and road grime. It seems pretty durable, and produces a decent enough shine.

Some here don't like the way it is marketed, but that has nothing to do with the product's performance.

When I had my website (kleanride.com) I carried that and it was the best selling product I had. People would buy 6 bottles at a time! Good product...I like. I agree with Mr. Clean completely!

Excellent 1 step product...probably the best I've tried. This product would appeal to the NuFinish user but w/o the abrasives.

I lent my last bottle to a friend that wanted to wax his car....he used 1/2 the bottle on one car and now I am without

I remember seeing this at the LA County Fair in Pomona and the Greater LA Auto Show every year... I was always skeptical as they'd always have someone demonstrating on a hood, lighting it on fire, and writing on it with a permanent ink marker. Stuff smelled pretty good though :)

Great one step product for a quick clean up or someone asks you "what should I use?" I always ask them "how much effort and money do you want to invest?" Typical response is not much of either. So, Liquid Luster it is! I use it on the boat, squirt it on a pad and go to town, the water line is gone. Cleans real nice, but doesn't last long.

Half of a 16 oz. bottle on one car? Were his arms much larger in the days following the wax job? LOL

dunno....I was in a state of complete disbelief when he returned the bottle to me. They're good people...I didn't say anything and he hasn't asked to borrow any more products, thankfully.

i was thinking about doing this

dawn wash

scratch x

liquid luster

meguairs show car glaze 7

2 X NXT wax

sound good?

Hmmm...me wonders if you would have a smearing, streaking disaster if you put the Liquid Luster on first, before the NXT. NXT is a sealant, which won't bond to the carnauba...

The other way around might work good tho....or

Glaze 7

NXT (times as many coats as you choose, waiting 24hrs before each)

Topping with LL lastly...

na2c32,

I'm not sure what you are working with or trying to accomplish, but I think you could easily skip from the ScratchX step to the 2x NXT. I think the NXT will diminish if not completely remove the LL and #7. 2x NXT is going to provide a pretty nice look. :up

im trying to get rid of swirls...so should i just go scratch x , show car glaze then liquid luster then NXT? i hear liquid luster then NXT is good because the NXT is like a layer of protection over the liquid luster..sorta double the shine because its syntheic

I've never topped LL, so I can't speak from a point of certainty. NXT does seem to have a cleaning component, and LL definately has cleaners. I just don't see the two working together. LL, #7, nor NXT will help you with the swirls issue. I haven't used Scratch X, so I don't know how that will work. Do you have any other dedicated SMR product available?

no swr products cause local shops dont carry...i wanna get meguairs number 9 or 3m but no one sells..scratch x is good for scratchs..but not really swirls LL claims swirl removal ..so thats why im considering that befor NXT ..but do you think it damage the paint if i just try scratch x then glaze then NXT then LL? honestly i think NXT just cleans off show car glaze seems like there isnt much difference when i use it....oh yah and since LL has cleaners..would it basically "clean" off my NXT or..?

What color vehicle, how significant are the swirls? Your statement about LL claims of removing swirls didn't sound like the LL product I'm familiar with, so I grabbed my bottle. No claims of swirl removal - oxidation, tar, bird stains, bug marks, road grime, and grease - yes.

Try the Scratch X on a small section, you've already got it. Try the NXT many have reported good defect hiding with the NXT, I haven't personally witnessed that.

You may have to order some SMR from an online source if the above tactics don't work.

I think that LL will not be compatible as a topper with the NXT, but as I've said I haven't used LL as a topper. Dale may have some experience with that. I'll defer to him or anyone else who has used it in that manner.

I see that, I had to get my bottle back out just to make sure that I didn't miss that. But, no the bottle printing is slightly different, of course my bottle is a couple of years old (I bought several at the "Special Fair Deal" :D ). My bottle says "Cleans, Waxes & Protects" in that area of the bottle.

I don't know what they meant by "Helps Eliminate Swirl Marks", since just above that it says (in even larger letters) "NON-ABRASIVE". Perhaps there have been some fillers added to the new formula?

Anyway, I'm sure you will find lots of uses for it. :up
