Liquid Glass might look great, but it offers ABSOLUTELY no durability nor protection. It seems that your car is a regular driver, so after about 2 weeks the shine will be gone. You are MUCH better off applying several (more than 3) layers of either Klasse Sealant Glaze (SG) or Zaino. AFTER applying either of those, then apply a coat of Liquid Glass for the ultimate shine, and you will have duirability as well.. Then, every couple weeks, apply a coat of Liquid Glass to get the shine back.

Dont get me wrong, SG and Zaino, each give incredible shine on their own.

Hi PathfinderGuy,

I tried to tell the same thing to a guy in his early 20's and he basically told me that all of his friends use liquid glass. And guess how he was applying that can of liquid glass on his brand spanking new BLACK Subaru Impreza WRX? With a shop towel. And not a regular cotton shop towel but worst, he was using a paper shop towel. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that. I tried to teach him a thing or two but I guess young dogs also don't want to be thought new tricks...:D So I left him be. As Bernie Mac would say, "They got to learn, they got learn, those damn kids"...just kidding.

Take care,

I had a 89 toyota truck that was repainted in 91 , the factory super red. I owned the truck for the next 10 years, and used Liquid Glass on it once a month, EVERY month. It was kept outsid e 24-7. In the 10 years, it never had water spot etching, oxidation, or clear coat failure. I not once ever put the high speed to it. I agree that the protection diddnt last long, but when using the LG carwash soap, it seemed to last longer. I didnt let it bake in the sun for 4 hours like the instructions say either. Ive used it solely on a couple retail customers cars, mainly emerald greens, burgandy's, and charcoal. Does ok on black. Goes on and off real easy, but has a strong solvent smell. I havnt tried the z or k route yet, but on good paint, I never hesitate to use the LG. Just my 2 cents. Jason P.S. I will try to dig up pictures on that truck, and scan them.

I use LIQUID GLASS once in a while. Not bad nice shine ......ITs 17.00 dollars in the auto stores around here Thats expensive for a liquid polish!
