Liquid Glass

well I usually do everything by hand, but i figured if I used a buffer it would work in getting those fine scratches and etched spots out. i tried alot of different products and I can't get anything out

liquid glass works for protection as its main purpose. i doubt the cleaners it might have would help u're scratches much. look for a SR.

would u use sunscreen to treat acne? no! ud grab benzoyl peroxide

(lol.. i dont even know why i said that, but oh well. enjoy)

I'm not a chemist, so would someone look at the MSDS sheet for Liquid Glass and tell me what it means. What I see is that it is 64% water. I would think that it is water based. Here is the link to the MSDS sheet

I'm admitedly not a chemist either, but there is nothing in there that will hurt your paint. All of those items are pretty common stuff. I cannot forsee any ill effects at all *shrug* I don't know where that idea came from. Perhaps it's a newer formula.

It looks like the MSDS was updated 11/04 maybe for VOC regulations...
Now you just have to make sure you have the new version vs. the old one:dunno

Liquid Glass was the Zaino of it's day. There are better, cheaper, more specialized products available now, but that's because of improved technology, not because LG is an inferior product. Mike Phillips' favorite quote, and his signature line is: "Find something you like...and use it often" is perfect. If Turtle Wax Hard Shell wax gives you the results you want, and you're happy with it by all means keep using it regularly.

I wouldn't be afraid to use LG on my cars again. With the proper prep, I'm sure I'll get good results. It's just that right now I'm happy with NXT and Collinite Insulator.

I personally really like this product, its very easy to use, it wipes off very easily, you can use it in bright direct sun, it protects and lasts a very long time, once you put it on it feels like a hard hard smooth shell, it looks like its old fashion, they really need to change the container it looks like something from the mid 60's but that xxxx works
i use to use carnuaba wax (its messy and its more work to apply and take off, i also feel carnuaba doesnt leave the paint feeling super smooth, but carnuaba protects and lasts a long time
to polish wax and seal in one step LIQUID GLASS is the protect to use
i also use the nxt syn wax its good but the LG is the best i have used
