Hey D'duck, how ya' doin'?

Nice ride you have there. :up My buddy has a red GTP, same yr I believe. Sweet !

Liquid Glass, as you may know, is an old product but still does the trick. Are you applying by hand or machine? Just curious.

I haven't used it lately. So many new products to try. However, if you're looking for an absolutely great shine on your balck GTP I'd recommend Pinnacle Souveran paste. Though expensive it gives one of the best, if not the best, deep liquid look on black cars. Something to think about down the road.

Anywho...Why not attempt to get those swirls out before applying multiple coats of LG. If you have a PC then you can use Megs DACP or any number of other products in the same category. It'll make the paint look even better,

Cheers,

Russ

Yeah, im applying by hand. Would like to get a PC, but for now id just like to get a decent shine out of my car. I tried NXT, but am happier with LG's results.

As far as the swirls go, I have tried Meg's #9 swirl remover when I did my NXT job and it didnt seem to do anything so being the non-swirl expert that I am, im at a loss as to what to do next...

For applying by hand you may need to step up to something a little more agressive than #9. Possibly DACP? I don't know much about the Meguiar's line but I'm sure someone else will come along to reply.

Liquid Glass is a pretty good wax and I really like it. It's not that hard to work with and it does give a pretty good shine!

Hey digitalduck! You must be kidding! That's a used car?! It looks so new! And why it doesn't even have a dent if it's an old car?

Anyway, PC + DACP + W8006 will remove all the minor swirls easily. Cheers!
