Saturday

The customer originally wanted a 'wheels off' detail, but with my trolley jack on the blink and no jack in the BMW, my only option was the OEM VW Scissor jack.... which I was not prepared to chance. So I had to try and clean them up as best I could, on the car.

They were in terrible condition with a full years worth of BMW Brake dust ingrained into them, especially in the barrels.

Thanks for looking and as always any comments or questions are welcome
 :hi:

great turnaround on this car. why do the owners of these cars neglect them for so long before they get them detailed? i don't get it.

+1 blucpe, i see Mercs and BMWs in this condition all of the time; haven't figured it out yet.  Anyways....great job on that BMW.  Those rims are always a cussout!!!!

Thanks guys

Also, 2 corrections....

Firstly, it is an F30 not an E92m, and secondly I used Meguiars A12 not A26 (don't even think there is such)..... don;t know where my head was at the time I typed that. Sorry.

And yes, I cannot understand why people do not simply maintain their vehicles properly. In all likelihood a bottle of QD or ONR and some decent MF towels in the trunk for when the birds decide to drop their bombs, would have prevented the bulk of that etching. Call it 'permanent damage' if you don't want to be wet-sanding an OEM clear on a daily driver and you are stuck with 'forever', what would have taken a minute or possibly 2 to remove, when it happened?

For so many people a car is nothing more than another appliance.  Just so happens some people's appliances are more expensive than others lol.  Great turn around, especially on those wheels

Nice job cleaning that mess up! I know those wheels with the stupid groove behind the spokes (just like the A6 I did today) make cleaning the barrels a huge pain.

None of you guys who post these detailing turnarounds should ever take what you do lightly, it is an art what you do, imho anyway i truly admire your passion for the work you do, i think i speak for alot of people when i say that, keep up the good work.
