light swirl problem

i have a 2006 truck .that had light swirls on it really not bad at all. i clayed it the using a dualaction polisher i used the green pad then the blue pad with the optimum polish then waxed .it came out great but in direct sun if you look real close theres ver light swirl marks. there very light but none the less there .you can only see them in direct sun if you look really close. none the less anoying any ideas?? should i compound then polish?? i hate to go aggressive on a new truck . any ideas thanks

If it is truely bothering you then yes, I would try OP again. You make it sound like they are really mild, though, and there is no reason to remove more paint just for a few mild swirls. Have you considered using a product with fillers?

the mistake with alot of first time pc users is you need to work the polish/compound with very firm pressure with slow overlapping passes in different directions (up/down/side to side/horizontal). sometimes a few passes are needed (different car makes play a role too, as some clears are softer/harder than others)...
