This customer has been doing business with me for a long time with numerous vehicles dating back over 5 years ago, so I set him up with a courtesy basic detail on the house as a thank you. He took the opportunity to upgrade to a 1 stage paint correction while I was at it. I got about 80%+ correction on the whole car. Some sections were 90% and the trunk (where I did 2 stages) is very close to 100% with only a few RIDS left. Anyway here are the pics for you guys.

Process:

Exterior

-Foamed with Dawn

-Rinsed and Dawn wash

-Gloss-It Wheel Gel on wheels and tires

-Daytona EZ detail brush

-Swissvax Wheel brush

-Clayed with Z18 and Megs LT as lube

-Tires with Zaino Z16

Correction

-Gloss-It Extreme Cut w/EVP on LC orange via PCXP speed 6

*I was suprised how well this finished down. After 3 IPA wipedowns, no micromarring*

LSP

-Zaino ZAIO

-Zaino Z5pro

-Zaino Z6

Gloss-It Wheel Gel working its magic. This stuff is awesome.

Gotta get it clean in here too!

You can see the water isn't really beading well on the surface.

Pre-wash foaming to loosen stubborn dirt and debris.

After rinsing/washing/striping the paint there is no beading at all. A fresh clean surface to start with. On to the claybar.
