just wondering, can I use lexol leather cleaner and/or vinylx to clean and protect the hoses/belts in my engine bay. I didn't know if they would corode or break down the plastics there
I wouldn't really put anything on the belts as they may slip...but for rubber and plastric stuff the Vinylex works well for protecting and a nice look.
cool. yeah, i didn't think about the belts slipping. That'd be bad...but a clean engine, that's good..but the engine will get dirty again, that's bad...but it means I get to spend more time cleaning grease...
