Lexan scratches

What product do you recommend to use to clean, and possibly remove fine scratches from Lexan windows? Also, what's a good protectant as well?
 
Well if it's really lexan, ie polycarbonate, it will be coated and you only want to polish not sand. More than likely it's acrylic and is sandable and polishable.
 
The Lexan is the back window of a truck which has a roll cage installed. I'm not sure if it's acrylic or true Lexan but i can try and find out.
 
Best way to see is put on polarized sunglasses and look at reflections in it. If you see rainbow colored distortions then you know it's coated and is polycarbonate if not it's acrylic.



Acrylic won't yellow over time, polycarbonate will. It absorbs moisture from the air and also uv will deteriorate it. The coating prevents this so you don't want to sand it off.

So if it's true Lexan, then would something like PlastX work?
