Lets see your brushes/mits/sponges/etc

I'm trying to get an idea of what other washing utensils I need and was wondering what other people have in their arsenal. I am in desperate need of some brushes for various things (wheels, undercarriage, engine, tight areas etc). What kind of stuff are ya'll using, whats each thing for, and what are the rules for where it does and doesnt go so that it stays paint-safe?

Also, how do you wash them when its over so all the gunk and such stays out, and how often must some things be replaced.
