Lets see some pics of a of a job that came out better than you expected

Here is a job that I did for my neighbor last fall. This is a '68 Camaro RS that he has had since High school and he is now in his late 40's. The paint is 15 year old lacquer paint. I was really happy with the results. I read on another forum with lacquer apply Meg?s #7 and allow sit over night and wipe off in the morning. I followed that up with Meg?s #80 on a black pad. Finished off with Black Fire Wet Diamond and natty's blue paste wax. The gloss was really deep. Here are a few of many shots that I took.

WOW! Great job on a beautiful car my friend! I'm seeing more of those "subtle" flames. Really like them on the muscle cars.

Did this CLK for a few cents on the dollar back 6 months ago... I swore to only do a 1 step but I couldnt stop myself...

Video 50/50 (dont mind the music, helps me focus :o)

Older Benz paint corrected up 95% with a 2 step (wool, foam finishing pad)

Shocked me a bit

Thanks Jay. The guy that did the flames has passed on. I was extra careful.

That Merc and the Vette looks great as well. I am not a big Vette guy but that is one of the nicest years. Government Motors will probaly not be doing much R & D with Vettes now. They should sell the name off to another owner and get out from under government control.

Awesome Camaro

This 850 is probably one that I did not think would come out so nicely (for what it is) so quickly.

I started with Power Gloss on the trunk to remove the oxidation and on the front fender to remove the deeper scratches then two stepped (very quickly I might add) the rest of the car.

Wow Todd. One step with Power Gloss. Great job, that car was a mess.
I want to I sign up for classes at PAC?

I only used Power Gloss on one spot. The rest was 1-step with Meguiar's M86 So1o Cut and Creme.

Don't know about classes, we have kicked around the idea for quite some time. Judging by the Camaro, I don't know how much better you could get!
:notworthy:

If you look close you can find this weekend project in one of the pics. I have mentally been preparing all day. I will report back on it.

Hint: It is not the red car!
