Leaving with a Dry Carpet

Carpet extractors are a necessary evil for all of us. I say that because after all the hard work is done, you (or your customer) still have to wait for the carpet to dry. Well while searching the other day for some spot removal products, I ran across this thing called the water claw spot lifter. I was very impressed at the video. It seems to do a great job of bringing the surface water up.

I mostly use steam now, but there are times when the extractor is necessary. Does anyone have any experience with this tool?

looks like that would be difficult to manouver around a car interior might be good for seats though

True.. Flexibility would be important as well as size. The smallest unit measures about the size of a piece of legal paper (8.5" X 14"). That is a good size for SUVs and MinVans (which are the vehicles that I mostly use the extractor for. I just wrote the company and told them of my intrest in using this in auto detailing. I suggested that they make it more flexible and a smaller size like 5"X7".
