All About The Bling Bling
Thats right, i'm leaving thr detailing business. I'm not shutting down the business though, the money is too good to do that.

I been offered to do one of the things i've only dreamed about. Going to start learning how to body pierce and tattoo. My artist is opening a new shop in tampa florida and he needs a body piercer. So i been offered the spot. He'll teach me for free, and once i get the hang of it, i'll have to pay rent for my space. He's got 30 years in the business so i've got myself a good teacher.

Thats about it, i'm excited so i figured i would let you all know.

Best of luck in this new chapter in your life. Ay, almost all of my family live in Tampa. :) Now you'll have to root for the Bucaneers. :) Good luck and congratulations. :)
 
Very nice. I was once offered a tattooing apprenticeship and later a piercing apprenticeship too. Unfortunately I had a full time job working for the state 50 miles away and just plain did not have the time.

Indeed there are :dnaughty . But then there are also some not so cool places that unfortunaly come with the job.
 
Good deal for you TD! I'm moving to tampa in january, do your old clients need a detailer?
I also need a tattoo.
 
Thought i would update.

I did my first tattoos the other day at a friends place. One was the yoshi character from the mario bros. games. And then the other was a chinese style cherry blossom. The cherry blossom artwork wasn't that great but the tattoo itself came out awesome for my second, and the yoshi also came out good but i don't have a close up of it.

I've also got back into the detailing business. Sorta, I'm cleaning cars mon-wen/thur and then apprenticing on thur/fri,sat, and sundays.

I was thinking about getting a tat of the Rolling Stones logo on my right buttock.

What would your charge to do something like that for me?

I live down in Myakka City so I could drive up in an hour or so.
 
That tat would be awesome fuzz. Tattooing and piercing could yield a good amount of cash. I don't want to think about how much I've spent with the three tats and one piercing. Congrats on doing what you've always wanted to do. I'm sure you'll have your fair share of glory and horror stories from piercing.
 
I have one tattoo that I got when I was 18. For the past year I have been getting laser treatments to have it removed. It's about 3" x 4". Cost for laser removal treatments so far --$1,400. Got about two more treatments to go ($400). Gotta wait about 4-8 weeks between treatments. Tattoos are cool, but I figured they are not for me. It's real interesting to see the tattoo "fade" over time. It's only one color- blue. When done, it will be completely gone, won't be able to tell. Got nothing against tattoos, like I say, but they just aren't for me.

glad to hear im not the only one. I havent had any desire to get a totoo or peircing not my thing. Each to there own, and i appricate a good peice of art on someonesbody. But hey ill admit it, I fill alot of accountant sterotypes and thats defintly one.

Good luck with future tatoos, and congrats that everything is working. Keep us updated to how things go
