Leatherique products

Is the rejuvinator oil & prestine clean from Leatherique any good?

Do I need to use a conditioner after using Leatherique products?

What I use now is Four Star leather cleaner gel & conditioner.

the rejuvenator is mostly used for older cars. For new leather I really really like 1z leather cleaner from openroadmotors.com. Just use a terry cloth and they'll look brand new in 10 minutes. Not shiny or greasy at all. Amazing how clean looking leather will still kick up tons of soil onto the terry.

You can use the Leatherique prestine clean to keep it soft after cleaning, Lexol tends to give off a yellowish residue if you use too much.

The Prestine Clean serves as both a cleaner and conditioner; it does a fine job. For older seats you'll want the RO as part of your process...it shouldn't be necessary on a new vehicle.

George sez: Condition first, clean second.

I've used leatherique on some seats that felt like cardboard. It didn't make them perfect but it did improve them to where they were almost soft. I ended up bringing the seats into the house and covering them with saran wrap on top of the leatherique and let them sit for a week or so.

How did they turn out?

X2.

I had amazing luck with our kitchen chairs. The leather has always been hard as a board...not any longer :secret

I've had good success with the Leatherique products. My daughter has started to use the Prestine Clean on her tack, so I'll have to replace that soon. The RO lasts a long time.
