Leather seats stretching....

Hi all!



This is my first post on this BB, so please be kind to me



OK, I have a slight problem - the nice leather on my Recaro seats (GTI MK IV) seem to be stretching. This is happening at the base of the seat i.e where your rear end sits, and it is starting to annoy me. Is there any way of shrinking the leather so that it will look fairly new again?? Also, if there is a way to do this, does it make the leather any weaker??

What makes it appear to be stretching?



Does it have crease marks?



Search on here for leather care and maybe leatherique....a bunch of posts should pop up for you read through with tons of info...

stretching seems to be due to normal use - I have seen other GTI's with the same thing. And yes, it does appear to have crease marks as well. Will try the search.
