LC System 2000 Pad Washer & Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer

Has anyone tried both? Which did you prefer?



If all you use is foam I am guessing the Grit Guard would be better since agitation against the grit guard would be a little more effective than against the spurs of the LC System 2000.



On the other hand, if you use wool also, how well would a Grit Guard (rather than spurs of the System 2000) do with wool strands?



I use wool for correcting so my guess is I should go with the System 2000.

I have the Grit Guard and its great, even on wool pads. It can also work with the PC 7424.

i have used both, an now use only the grit guard sold the lc 2000 an got another grit guard for a backup lol.

OK. I figured wool pads would need something that can "dig" into the wool and clean it out like spurs.

My pad washer arrived today along with about $400 in pads from LC- Kompressor and 4" foam! So excited to start some R and D with Optimum and LC pads.
