Hello !! :wavey

I'm from Spain, and here is very difficult to find good PADs. I heard very good comment from LC PADs and from Meguiars PADs. I want this PADs dor polish with Porter Cable 7336sp. I can find in eBay this PADs:

The ones from Meguiars:

http://cgi.ebay.es/Meguiars-Soft-Bu...012470933QQcategoryZ72201QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

This ones from LC:

http://cgi.ebay.es/Lake-Country-6-5...itemZ8045402335QQcategoryZ72201QQcmdZViewItem

And this ones from other web:

http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pb54-57polish.html

I don't know what kind of PAD is better for Porter Cable use.

Could you help me telling me what is your choice?

I have The Edge Propel 7" PADs but I don't like them, and I want to change.

In LC web, I can't find the Constant Pressure PADs anymore, but I read that they are good for PC use. Now, in the web appear this PADs:

http://www.lakecountrymfg.com/foampads_dafoam.html

Any help will be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :bow

They are both excellenrt sources for your pads. P personally use Meguiar's pads as

1. they are well made and come with the Megs satisfaction guarantee.

2. I order lets of Meg's products anyway so I just add them to my orders.

In 10 years of using the PC I've only had one pad fail and Meg's replaced it immediately.

I'm sure several others here will tell you that they have similar results from LC and as I said I believe you can't go wrong with either's pads.

Wich ones are your PADs from Meguiars?

I'm from Spain, so I have to look for them in eBay or in a UK store that sells to Europe.

Any comment from LC for using with PC? Which PADs model?

Thanks. :xyxthumbs

What don't you like about the Propel pads?

The green one is the best for me. The yellow doent't cut so much, and the blue one tends to deform while the process of polish. Maybe this deform is caused by the different dimensions of the plate/PADs. My plate is 5", and Propel PADs are 7". I prefer smaller PADs. I saw 6.5" LC PADs, maybe this dimension is better for my PADs. Or maybe, I've to buy a bigger plate...

Do you have experience with Propel, Meguiars, LC... PADs? Can you tell me your experiences?

:thx

I mostly use the W8006 Softbuffâ„¢ Polishing pads and the W9006 Softbuffâ„¢ Finishing pads from Meguiars.

And could you compare them whith LC, Propel...?

I can buy Meguiars PADs from eBay in seriousperformanceltd. In Spain they are very dificult to find...

The point is to buy the ones wich are considerated the best because I must pay a big shipping.

Thanks !!

I have used the whole line of Propels with the exception of the gray. I've also used the orange and green Propel2 pads, the Meguiars 8006 and 9006 pads, the LC white polishing pads, orange LC VC pad, 4" gray and orange LC pads, and blue/green Propel Turbo 4" pads.

My personal preference is the Propel line, for 7" pads and 4" pads. The Propel2s are growing on me too.

The Meg's pads had a tendency to hold onto the product too well when I tried to wash them out. And the LC VC orange pad...well I just straight out dislike that pad. VC is not my thing.

My god, then, for your comments, it will be very difficult to find a better PAD for using by PC that the 7" Propel...

Maybe the LC D.A. PADs... or LC Constant Pressure PADs...Anybody has tried them?

Thanks again !!

Yeah, I'm come to the conclusion that the Propels are the best way to go, not just due to the quality of the pads themselves, but also because of the price and customer service that you get from Patrick.

Have you tried Propel Advance PADs?

OK, that's what I meant when I said I've tried the Propel2 pads. Same thing.

As I said, I've used the green and orange ones so far. I have a yellow one, but haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

The P2 pads are neat because they tend to resist curling up behind the backing plate when you apply pressure to them. I like them better than the Meguiars pads because of my forementioned issue with the pad holding onto the product. It was difficult to wash the polish out of it. It's possible that it was just the particular product that I was using though.

Regardless, after using various brands of pads, I prefer the Propels.

I understand you. But do you like I will notice a big improvement with Propel2?
