Sorry, no before shots of the exterior, but the outcome sure was nice, for a beetle that is...

I'm still in shock as to the appearance of the interior when I first looked...

But I think the outcome speaks for itself..

except for that stubborn stain in the passenger seat, I really worked my a$$ off trying to get it all the way out,

I don't know what caused the stain but it must have the same chemical make-up as bird s#it or sap, lol

The look on the customer's face and the compliments are almost as rewarding as the payoff...almost! :D

Yes, looks great! And the smile on the face is a great reward!

I'm also curious on how do you rate this car, please tell us.

Thank you for the positive feedback! :D

It took 20 hours to bring the car to the condition it's in now, which is standard for most any car we do, 10 hours per man, 2 men on each project. Even a little car like this one has it's stubborn aspects that eat up time. The size of the project isn't always the deciding factor in how to bill a project, but more the condition of the project. The exterior was simple, from the time the cutting pad hit the first fender until the last fender was polished and had its first coat of wax, 1.5 hrs, but the interior was thrashed and had to be done multiple times, so it was a wash, made great time on the outside but the inside took twice the time it should, due to it's condition.

I used Mark V products on the exterior; 100% wool pad & krystal kut, IP-200 and a 50/50 pad for the polish, and three coats of the pink carnauba "502". Interior was a mixture of red power and shampoo with a ton of elbow grease, followed by window cleaner on the seats to help lift the stains out.
