Latest detailsâ„¢ v. Pair of 3's, G35 Coupe, lots of Collinite!

They all look amazing as usual. I like the M3s, all the black one needs is some painted white trim and the white one needs black wheels. lol

Thanks for coming out to detail my car Scott. Really happy with the way the car came out. I recently had an emergency repair from the dealership and forgot to tell them not to wash it. When I got the car back it looked like they used a brillo pad to wash my car! Scott took care of it in no time at all.

Glad you are happy, Ray. BTW, please get me the recipe of that spicy (curry perhaps) chicken your Mom was cooking, it was delicious!

Here's a question about your headline. Did you trademark "Latest details"? And if you did, how did you go about doing so? I noticed the little "TM" right away.

Oh yeah, the cars. Well I noticed them too.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

No, I just started doing that when everyone else started their threads with "latest details". I'll probably come up with something else though just to change things up. ;)

alright cool. I need to find how to trademark something and I thought maybe you could give me some info.

Never fails to blow my mind... how black you make black cars look! Absolutely stunning. :xyxthumbs

Thanks, I appreciate that. Having a black car really helps though, plus I do a lot of black cars in my business. This month, for example, 29 of the 50 cars I have done so far have been black. 39 of 72 in October! Lots of practice!

That being said, I think my black 626 will be my last black car. I just don't have the time to keep on top of it, so it really only looks good a couple days a week. The rest of the time (like now!) it is dusty or just plain dirty.

My pics did not came out very well. It is hard to show a reflection in pics with a white car when no sun is out! Anyways, thanks for coming out Scott! I may end up having the car rotary polished to get everything out, but I am very happy with the car right now.

Thanks again!

Mike

Mike-I think this picture you sent me came out great!

BTW, I think if you just go over the car with your PC using the products I suggested, I think you will be able to get the paint pretty much flawless in a polishing session or two. I think you've learned now how to use the PC. :)

Nice work Scot.

So now that you have used Collinite more often, how does it stack up against the more expensive artcy fartcy LSPs in looks and durability ?

Ed-I think it ranks right up there with any beauty wax I have used and the durability and beading are at least as good as Meguiars #16. In addition, the ease of use makes applying and removing it about as easy as anything I have used.
