2002 Jaguar S Type. Pretty decent shape, some spider swirling. Last polished and waxed with #80/#16 in early November and Optimum Car Wax in early February. Used Poorboy's SSR2.5 with a Meguiars polishing pad, AIO with another Megs polishing pad and Shokar sealant by hand.
Here is a half/half shot of the leather seats, top half cleaned with Woolite/water and bottom half still dirty.
The whole car shot got washed out a bit by the angle of the sun but it does show the sharp reflections of this combo. The other two shots are better.
2002 Mercedes S600. Driven and regular trashed by the owner's wife. Lots of surface scratches from when she uses a brush (like you'd use on a motorhome) to wash the car. She'd be better off leaving it dirty. :nervous2:
Polished it out with 2.5 and a Meguiars polishing pad, Clearkote's Red Machine Glaze with a blue Propel pad and applied Carnauba Moose via machine (recommended by NY Detailer) using a Meguiars finishing pad with the PC set on 3. Very easy to lay down a thin layer this way.
I also detailed his Escalade again because he let the wife use it. Dog hair and cigarette ash all through it but at least no spills this time. I had used AIO/Shokar on it in February and it was holding up very well still and paint was still pretty much swirl free. I just added another layer of Shokar. I also washed his son's GTO but no pics, just a quickie wash and vacuum. After detailing the S600 and Escalade, I was pretty much out of light when I finished washing the GTO anyway.
I have another shot of this Escalade with EX-P on it and the look is practically identical, so if you have EX-P, you pretty much have the look of Shokar.
2004 Lexus SC430. Garage Queen. Shokar twins in January, with only 400 addition miles on the odometer since then the car still looked terrific. Just topped with Pinnacle Souveran by hand.
There was a noticable improvement in depth and wetness.
A few more shots of that yellow metallic M3 (2.5 and AIO with polishing pads, Shokar by hand).
Damnit thats it Scott. If we fly down to Dallas can we crash at your house for a few days and watch you work? Ryan can help. I can cook and clean the house. Take you out for fun dinners, sushi and saki anyone?

Nikon N60 with Kodak's High Definition Film. I've been playing around with the exposure settings because when the light in the background is brighter than what I am shooting at, the background is washing out a bit. I think I am going in the right direction though....
That is my fave color of M3. I will be doing a GTI with a similar color sometime next week. I met this kid at my bank and give him props on his nice car...then went on to ask him if he's ever detailed it. Said he never got around to it so we exchanged numbers, and set a date...woo!!!
Scott, nothing for protection? I have been using 303 High Tech Fabrik Guard. It doesnt look as good as what you do though!! Thanks for the info. I will be trying that on a upcoming Vette!
