Lane's Car Products?

Has anyone tried Lane's ? I have seen them off & on ebay over the last year. And using the search function here only pulled up their SUPER BLUE TIRE GLOSS. Someone felt it was the best. All other threads pertained to driving!:rolleyes:



Pricing looks pretty good when you consider you get a quart instead of a pint.



Really curious about the Super Seal Wax. A sealant wax combo.



Anyone tried the product line???
 
I too like yourself am very interested in Lanes , I have only heard about them on www.customtacos.com from what I've read nothing bad about them. I may get some in the near future and see what the deal is. Anyone else use them?
 
I ordered some over the weekend. Guess I'll see. They do come in quarts instead of pints, so they are a pretty good value and some are concentrated.:bounce

Yeah, "Lane" was a major spammer on the old Tacs board. He was always bashing other products and claming his were far superior. When I explanined why Teflon was useless in car products I was told I "didn't understand" how Teflon worked. :rolleyes:

I had a guy try and sell me some sealant before and he had 2 types one with Teflon and one without. He told me it really didn't make a difference, but had a large buyer basically demand it be put in to continue his contract. Doubt that is the case here, but I found it interesting that some feel it is necessary.



I got some of the Super Seal, Tire Gloss, & Touch-Up Shine. I'll let you know what I think. And oh yeah some....New Car scent:o I only do a few details a month for extra cash, but I have had several people ask me for New Car scent, so.......
 
We have had tornadoes and rain for the last few weeks, but I finally got a chance to try the Lane's Products I ordered.



I have no opinion yet on the sealer, but the other items are quite good. The Super Blue Tire Gloss is very nice with a nice scent to boot.



Do sealers sheet, bead, or sheat/bead? I am used to tight Zaino like beads with Collinite 476s and in my test section of the sealer it sheeted more than beaded.



The new car scent wasn't for me. My dad liked it so I gave it to him. The interior shine was pretty good and also had a lemon like scent. You could apply more for shine or less for OEM look.



One of the best things was the wheel cleaner it worked VERY well.

As did the Dry Foam Cleaner (which is actually a liquid, lol).



I will probably stick with my Collinite as my finishing wax, but I was overall impressed with Lane's other items. A decent value too since you get 32oz. instead of pints. And with the cleaning products some are very concentrated to the point the bottle says you can dilute 1:XX.:bounce :xyxthumbs
 
Yep, I have been using his products for quite a while now. Super Blue (that was my post, btw) is probably my fav tire shine. I just used the Red Degreaser the other day and it worked quite nicely on the engine, and it worked WONDERS in the wheel wells. Love the New Car Scent! Its water based, so it only sticks around a day or two.

Ultimate Glaze is another product I tried recently and I had terrible results and I thought the product sucked, but then I realized it was my bad...long, embaressing story....so I owe it another try.



I have tried a few others too, but I forget what. I just got a shipment too, and I haven't had a chance to use anything other then the Degreaser...I will post my findings on the others..
