Well I first must say im very forutnate to have a client like this, last week I worked on his new Bentley and this is his latest toy in his ever changing collection. He's been waiting 2 years for this car and eventually it arrived last week. My first impressions of this car was WOW, it is a rocket ship, I have never seen anything quite like this. This car has put Lamborghini back in pole position, I have loved the 458 since its arrival but when we parked this next to the Ferrari it looked like a toy. When the car arrived i gave it a quick inspection and i must say the guys at Lambo did a great job. I was sure i would find sanding marks, pigtails, swirls.....There was some minor swirls and some holograms but the finish was the best ive seen for a exotic. Anyway enjoy!

There was a few signs left behind....attention to details guys!!!

Onto the wheels the car was already clean but i wanted to give it the once over anyway. Sonax Full Effect was used on the wheels and Megs APC+ on the tires and wheel wells. A variety of brushes were used

After the wheels were cleaned, I moved onto the paint. I first sprayed P21 Auto Wash to help break down any wax or glaze which was on the car. I then foamed the car with a mixture Dawn, CG Citrus Wash and Auto Wash

While the Auto Wash was soaking for a few minutes i got the q Tip out and went to work.

I let that sit for 5 minutes while I smoke a Fat Cuban

Right then my camera decided to die and i forgot my charger so i had to come back the next day to finish, i wasnt going to miss this one. The car was washed with 2 bucket method, dried and brought back in the garage for inspection.

i taped off the clear bra and any trim that might get in the way

For my test panel i used Megs MF system and that took care of the defects, that was followed by 85rd

The defects were really hard to pick up on the camera so have to look real close

The Lambo was being OPTI Coated because it will be used at the track so wanted to give it some extra protection. I started with the wheels, wiped with Alcohol first before application.

When i get over there next week hopefully the sun will be out....I think he used a GoPro camera so maybe i could get some footage

Wow...I did not know they were coming in any cleared colors. I have already seen the #1 and 2 Aventador and each of them were Matte style colors. None the less... excellent job. Also, whats your opinion on how strong Opti-Coat is against track abuse?

Nice, nice, nice! You really kept teasing with this one, but it was worth it! Great work David, and congrats on getting to play with a beast like that. :2thumbs:

"Out f-ng standing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love the venue as this owner does not subscribe to 75% percent but 100% certified TIGHTNESS, great work even though it was not "Hammered" as car freaks like me want to see this stuff 24/7 or "All day" which of course is the same thing................

I have a inbound Mc Laren as well and cannot wait!!.

I believe there is 2 in this colour, i could be wrong though. Well i take care of these cars weekly or whenever ever they get dirty, they really never get real dirty but whenever it goes to the track ill clean it as soon as it gets back. It has a clear bra to so i not expecting any problems.

Beautiful car and work. Surprised the owner didn't want the wheels to come off and be OptiCoated front and back.

I just opti coated it myself i take care of the cars so i just do what i think is best. Ill be on top of the car so not opticoating the inside wont be a problem
