Klasse SG Application

I have a 2007 charcoal gray Mustang. I just completed applying the second layer of Klasse SG after two coats of Klasse AIO. I applied the KSG in very thin layers and removing the haze was not a problem. What I have noticed is approximately 5 blemishes that are between 1/32 and 1/16th of an inch in diameter. I don't remember seeing the blemishes after the KAIO stage. The best way to describe the blemish is they are indentions that are are crater shaped. The only other place I have seen any thing similar is when using polyeurothane and had a bubble.



Has anyone seen anything similar or what was done to correct?

Sounds like the blemish may be below the KSG. I've never seen defects that appear to be physical. Most problems are simply stubborn streaks in the SG.



You can rework the area with AIO (removing all the KSG), then reinspect. If the defect is still there, then the defect is in the paint - if the defect is removed, then reapply the SG to the local area & proceed as normal.
 
Many people say that sealants like SG (and others) will highlight defects in the paint. My first guess is that they are bird poop damage. I have seen small, dark colored, highly damaging bird stuff that is hard to see on a dark car, and once it gets baked in the summer sun, it will make a "crater". Don't feel bad, it might have happened on the transporter or in the dealer lot before you even got the car.
