Klasse, Clay Bars and other Questions

Hi folks,



New to the boards. I just tried the Klasse products on my BMW for the first time. I put down a single coat of AIO and then a single coat of SG. I then applied a coat of One Grand Blitz Wax. Very pleased with the results...



I'd like to add some additional layers of product. Can I apply SG over the Blitz Wax, and then add another layer of wax on top? If so, how long should I wait between applications.



My other question is, should I be claying my car on a yearly basis? I hear both good things and bad things about Clay Bars. Not sure what to do. Is there an alternative product to clay that works well?



My last question, I promise. How long do I need to wait after having minor bodywork done on a car before I can wash, polish and wax? I plan to have some minor scratches removed from my 02 Boxster and would then like to detail the car.

SG probably won't bond to the Blitz wax. You will probably have to remove it before applying additional SG layer. 24 hrs between sealant layers is usually the standard.

You should have no probs claying your car once a year. Especially if you are is not garage kept..once a year is pretty much the norm.
