I am fairly new to these boards and have a qustion. Hope I dont sound to stupid! First off I have a 2001 black 4runner that i want to easily maintain. I have had it detailers and not happy with results and cost. A little while back I submited post and it was recommended that I use Klasse AIO w/sealer. I read the info about it at CMA website and it says it cantains no abrasives. Guess I can assume this stuff is not like the cleaner waxes you buy at local auto store. Now for stupid question....How can something polish without abrasives and should I be afraid to use it being new at this?...Also....can a good carnuba be used over Klasse?

Thanks in advance for any input.

This is actually a really good question that has been gone over pretty extensivly. I'm sure if you spend some time searching using our search function then you would find the answers. In short I can tell you that All in One is an excellent cleaner. It blows the doors off any off the shelf paint cleaner I've ever used. It doesn't neccessarily have to be abrasive to clean paint. And a good carnuba is always a good topper for Klasse. :xyxthumbs Have fun in the search!

I've used all in one for a while and can say it works well. Some here say that they believe the AIO has some mild abraisives in it but I've not seen anything to support that claim. AIO is more of a chemical cleaner and works very well. If your paint is REAL bad nothing beats a good old fashion cleaner/polish with a mild abrasive in it. I hear real good stuff about the Griots line of polish and there is a recent thread floating around about it.

Klasse AIO has some solvents in it that act as the "cleaner" of the product. Also, I would say that AIO does have some very, very mild abrasive in it. It not the type abrasive that will correct surface imperfections, more like just to work with the solvents to aid in the cleaning process.

I recently bought the Klasse twins and I am so pleased with the results on dark blue metallic, that I can't wait to finish the bottles I have now so I can buy the 1 liter size bottles - yeah - did you know is comes in 1 liter sizes - actually I saw a 3 liter cannister for the AIO, but you would have to be a pro to go through all that. I am sure Zaino is great too, but I have heard that it is better on Lighter rather than darker colored cars. Since I am so happy with Klasse for my car there is no reason to switch. I have seen trial sample kits of 2 oz bottles of Klasse at Yosteve.com for ~$15 - and if used properly you can get close to a year out of it, if anyone is interested in trying it.
