King Ranch F-150 Leather Conditioner

I did a client's King Ranch F-150 last week, but didn't want to use an off the shelf leather conditioner on those wonderful seats, so I ordered a bottle of the conditioner from King Ranch's web site. I asked them about cleaning the seats with anything, specifically 6:1 Woolite and water, and was told to try it on an inconspicuous (sp?) spot and let it dry. As long as it didn't discolor the leater it would be OK. I haven't used the conditioner yet, but man does it smell good! It's like leather scent in a bottle. It smells so good my daughter took it and rubbed it all over her dash in her Cavalier :) Not sure if this fits as a review or not, but figured I'd throw it out there :p

I have a King Ranch and I always clean the seats with Lexol Leather Cleaner then I will use either The King Ranch Leather Cleaner I got free with my truck or I use a product called Care 4-way. It is used to condition saddles. It works wonders and is very cheap. I think I got 32 oz for $9.95. I condition my seats every 4 weeks because it is so dry here and they look brand new still after a year.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, advice doesn't come any better than that! If you use Lexol cleaner on yours with no problems, then I'll get some to carry around. Thanks :up

The King Ranch trucks are very nice. If I was forced to drive a Ford truck that would certainly be the one I would want.

no no I was talking about the website DP-Jedi had about the King Ranch F150 where he got the "special conditioner" - I was just curious to take a look...

I know what lexol is...
