Kids 'n' Pets Brand Stain And Ordor Remover?

I just bought a 32 oz. bottle of this and never used it before.

It was $6.38 at Target and has a 4.00 Rebate. I figured it was a good deal, and time to buy and try it. (Purchased on 10-23-04, if anyone is intrested.)

I have used another cleaner brand with this machine once before, it has a hose attachment with spray and extractor. i believe the product i used had some alcohol in it and did a pretty nice job in my car, i noticed lots of dirt and grime coming out, very nasty stuff by the way. But some stains still remained but were lightened a bunch. my carpet looked brighter and more grey in color, i didn't know that much dirt was in there! (this stuff was recommended by a machine store and was pretty expensive, I think it was about 30 bucks a quart, so I'm trying Kid N' Pet's Brand to see if i can save.



Any recommendations for use with KIDS 'N' PETS BRAND will be appreciated.

Good and effective product but tough to purchase in some areas....I had to import mine from Washington state :(

My wife thinks nothing of having the kids eat in the car and it's the only reason I purchased this product. The car really smells after a while :( and there isn't much that can be done about without the purchase of an ozone generator.





I bough 3 bottles each of the original product and the laundry product. The laundry version is nearly gone and it does a great job of removing lingering odors in smelly clothes. The laundry version is more viscous but they appear to be the same product.



I have fitted my original product with a sprayer head and can mist it on a stain or an entire region of the car to help deodorize which it is quite effective at. It is also a very good (food) stain remover. One of the best in my arsenal of tricks.



Cheap, I have not tried the product with my hot water extractor but suspect it might be an excellent weapon in the battle against interior stains and general dirt.



The product has a pleasant odor but leaves no "ring" in the material where it was wetted. I believe it is a successful deodorizer but it's hard to be certain since the kids/wife trash the car on an on-going basis.



I like the product and will buy it again. I had to mail order it from the mfr. and they thought it was zany but it is not available in my state. We travel to VT frequently where it is supposed to be available (in local grocery stores) but I have never been able to find it.



If you have to deal with food stains/odors, this product is the real deal! It appears you can order it on-line now thru Amazon.

A: The biggest difference is that these other products are not serious about eliminating urine odors. Treating a urine odor with a spray bottle will waste your time and money. Tom, I was thinking the same thing with the spray nossle. I think they put the squeeze spout on there to soak stuff down for odors. I'll try a 50/50 or stronger if needed, and my machine. I'll pop a sprayer on the bottle for stain removing.



I know what you mean about eating in the car. I cleaned my sisters van the other day, I vacumed and banged everything out, and used my little electronic connections on the vac, and got in all the crack, crevices, vents and corners. I jumped in the other day, and it smelt like fast food had been sitting in there for weeks, I see little crums. I told her to stop eating fast food it's not good for you the kids or your car. :D she doesn't eat out often, but a few times without cleaning is all you need. :nixweiss

yeah, the eating-in-car thing really bumms me out. I hate the smell in the car since it's our only long-distance cruiser and I am the one stuck cleaning everything up.



I have not mixed the products down and have been using @ 100% strength. If you're going to attack a large area, dilution, with dist. water, probably makes sense.





I got a Sharper Image ionizer this week and I think I am going to put the thing in the car and roll the windows up and let it sit for the weekend. I'm certain I'll get some benefit out of that.

Try wal-mart or the grocery store. They also have a store locator either on their website or phone I can't remember.
 
madazskunk, I think Amazon has a 2 and 6 pack available for oredering online. If you order directly from Kids N' Pets you'll have to buy a case of 12.



I'll post back here after testing.
