This is something I've been putting off for far too long - Zaino products.
For those that know me, you'll know I'm a big fan of my wax finishes for an LSP- not expensive waxes, cheaper waxes deliver pretty much just the same (IMHO) with the odd exception (Swissvax Best of Show). They do always seem to add just a tiny bit of warmth to a finish to complement good machine finishing. Thus far, I've found sealents on the whole to be a bit more "cold", very reflective yes, but lacking a little something that waxes just seem to have...
But I've not yet tried what is widely regarded as the ultimate sealent - Zaino. So with my birthday just around the corner, its time to right that wrong... I believe Zaino products are ones which will reward time and effort put into machine finishing, something where I believe the biggest leaps in overall look are made. So from this perspective, Zaino seems like the obvious way to go from here in my quest for the ultimate LSP.
Expensive waxes just don't do it for me - Vintage for example, IMHO, looking not really any better than its much cheaper little brother, Concours. Waxes seem to have hit a rock wall. They can look awsome on well prepped paint, but I'm finding that the cheaper ones look just as awsome as those regarded as the "ultimate".
So - Zaino it is, no messing about as I've gone for an Ultimate-Kit (including leather care products for the hide in my S60). Trialling on scrap will happen first, and then onto my pride and joy in the spring for evaluation in the summer... Can the ultimate sealent turn a died-in-the-wool wax fan to sealents?
