For those of you from Louisville, I'll be down in your neck of the woods this weekend.
I've been busting my tail to get funds for this weekend's travel/tickets/gambling/mint julep expenses.
Last year, between Oaks and Derby day, I was 0 for 21 on the races. Then, I hit on "Mine That Bird," that went off at 50-1 odds... I had $15 on it. I won on the race after the Derby too. Between all of the gambling, mint juleps, tickets, hotel, and other travel, I came out down FIVE DOLLARS.
I'm gonna play it a little more conservative, this year... and hopefully the ponies will treat me better this year.
