Karcher K2 power washer + foam cannon + vinyl graphics = Safe?

I have never used a foam cannon before but want to try it. I have three vehicles, but one of them is my daily driver but also my weekend racer and is plastered with vinyl graphics. How far do I need to stay away from standard graphics (in your opinion of course) whilst maintaining the effectiveness and purpose of the cannon? I have been told many times over that the ones that attach to hoses are simply no where near as good for use.

I get as close as 2 feet....but then again, I`ve never had to deal with graphics..I usually run a 25 degree tip.

I suppose in your application, run a 45 degree tip and adjust your spray angle accordingly.
Generally when Im doing a hard rinse, I try to shoot the wand at both angles..
