DOES ANYONE HERE USE THIS? I WAS AT A DETAILERS SHOP A WHILE AGO, AND AFTER A WASH AND DRY, THE GUY USED THIS (KAR-PREP SURFACE CLEANER) TO REMOVE OXIDATION AND CRAP BEFORE POLISHING.

I ADDED A LINK BELOW, THE PRODUCT HE USED IS SHOWN AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THIS PAGE.

IF A CAR IS PRETTY BAD, I DON'T THINK CLAY WILL CUT IT, AND POLISHING WOULD BE A HORROR TO START. HOWEVER I WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT THIS MAY CONTAIN AND IF IT'S SAFE FOR PAINTS AND FOR ME?

anyone? he used a terry cloth and it looked pretty wet, i saw him rub the area down (the hood) slap some polish on the car with a squirt bottle, the bottle said cherryor cherrybomb or something like that then he placed the big dewalt to finish, and turned it on.

The product mentioned is a prep-sol type product, which are usually used a in paint shop environment. The product removes wax, grease and other items on the surface to ensure proper adhesion of paint.

Gliptone makes a product called cherry Bomb which is a mild polish/wax. Another possiblity is the cherry stuff was Cherry wet wax.
