Just saying hello

Just saw the site, joined and wanted to say hey. I'm new to posting and had been just lurking various sites for years, sorry. I always felt like I was standing in a room full of people talking and never said anything and didn't think anyone saw me. I think its about time I contribute what I can to all the site I have been looking at from the outside if I can. I'm from Joisey and will try to get my thing on the side of this post updated with some info and maybe an avitar at some point. I'm not a big perfectionist but I am in to performance and would like to get into some interior mods and exterior detailing or finding out alot more about it to keep my newer black 2003 Vette looking good. I have a white 1990 that has its own daily driver paint issues but because of the color, does not look as bad to the untrained eye. I'd better learn somthing quick before this newer one goes south. Thanks for everything in advance I'm sure I will learn alot from you guys. :geez

black is a pain. Plain and simple. I dealt with my black car for a month and a half before I wrecked it and I swear I washed it no less than 20 times in that time period. Then again I thought my car was dirty if it had a light coating of dust. Ahh well, I'm OCD, what can I say.

There's tons of information on here on how to properly take car of a black car. I'd suggest that you look at Accumulator's marring-free wash technique in the hall of fame section and get some ideas on how to properly wash from it. Other than that, welcome to the club!
