Gotta give a shout out to my man Scott P @ SpecialtyMotoring.com

He helped me figure out what I needed, as well as what process to use.

I ordered...

Optimum polish

ClearKote Red Moose Machine Glaze

PoorBoys EX

Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax

My process is going to be ..

1)Optimum - Orange pad

2)Optimum - White pad

3)RMG - Black pad

4)EX by hand OR Black pad

5)CMW by hand OR Black pad

All starting at speed 2, working up to around 5.

Hopefully this will be all I need to tackle my swirls, scratches, and spider webbing. I have to wait till next weekend to try all these out, the wait is killing me!

Think I can get all that crap out with these products?!

Sweet. I have a new found appreciation for that car. I saw an 05 on Barret's last night sell for 95,000! I forget what was cooler about it. Does yours have the red leather? I thnk that is HAWT.

Anyway, your schedule sounds cherry. Remember to work the Optimum for like 5 minutes per 2'x2' area at 6 (a long time + high speed) on a PC. I think you will be able to get everything out and it will look like a mirror. Best of luck.....early Pearl Jam Fan by chance?

So it takes around 5 minutes for the Optimum to break down? Think it will remove most, if not all the swirls and scratches I have? What about my bumper, I think its all just paint from hitting my garage.

Yea im an early PJ fan. Im actually going to their concert on May 25th :) How about you?

:LOLOL I'm thinking the one on BJ had a special story behind it.... :D

Your process and products look solid. You'll like the RMG with Nattys over it. I've been using that combo on a black Lexus and a black Miata with great results.

My mistake, I got Carnauba Moose Wax, not Nattys Blue

Yeah to all your questions. OP just takes nice slow passes...1 mississippi per inch. Complete the section and then go backwards. Then go over again for good measure. You'll defitnitely get all of that gunk and junk out of the paint.

I am such a PJ fan. When I was in highschool I was obsessed ('92-'95'). I hade life-sized posters of Vedder in concert, the Mother Love Bone cd, Bootlegs from Brixton, the movie 'Singles' memorized and original Tapes of the 'VS' cut when it was first called 'Five against One'. I remember cutting school for the 'VS' release and getting the first Vitalogy Vinyl and driving to other states to buy CD's. I was taping stuff off of radio broadcasts. That was when they didn't do concerts or appear in public places without masks. It was awesome and I was nuts. They've changed a lot and the last album i thought rocked was No Code. The best ones are still the first two.

First and only time I caught them in concert I was 18. They played in Columbia MD and we rushed the pavillion as soon as they started playing. I don't remember the show at all....I just remember feeling like I saw god or something. everyone was in a band those days and we all wanted to be eddie...I told you I was obsessed. I did catch them on SNL this past weekend and they looked like they still have some of what made them so cool to me then. Whatever it was, when I hear songs like Evenflow...I feel 16 and invinsible again in my 68 Rust-Bottom Beetle. Not that I'm that old (just turned 29) but 16 and 'Ten' feels like a million years ago.

Have fun at the show. You gonna have your ride tricked out to go to it? WHere are they playing the 25th?
