Just ordered some LC 6.5" pads

97FLAIRSIDE

I like blue! :oP
Well i said screw it, why wait any longer. My megs pads started to fall apart and i wanted a new cutting and polishing pad.

I ordered:
1. Orange Light cutting pad
2. White polishing pads
1. Grey finishing pad
1. Blue finissing pad

On my truck i need to go at it with ssr3, ssr2.5, ssr1, the pb polish, ex and nattys blue.

My jetta will only need 2.5 maybe, definitely 1, pb polish, ex and nattys.

Congratulations! As far as I am concerned one cannot have enough pads. I know it is easy enough to wash pads during a detail. I kind of like to change out often instead of wash or clean pads.

The pads that you ordered will really work nice for you. Is there any reason why you ordered LC pads instead of Meg's? Have never used a Meg's pad, myself.

Well figured i'de try something different. I had no grips about the megs other then the backing plate coming off.

Concratulations on the new LC pads. i really like my white polishing and blue pad.

new pads is next on my agenda. i might go with the LC VC. My orange LC cutting pad didn't last no more then 4 or 5 cars as a matter a fact it started to dealaminate last night in the middle of a detail. not saying this will be a problem for you.

The LC VC pads have a different way of attaching themselves to the pad. I am able to switch from rotary to PC with these type pad. I have never had a problem with the velcro on LC VC pads

I like my LC pads! They seem nice and dense! Love the velcro easy on and off! No issues so far!

well i got the pads today but to my surprise they dont say lake county but wolfgang councours. and they dont look like 6.5", they are the same size as my 6" megs pads.

Did you actually measure them?
I think most D/A Meguiar's pads are 6.5".

I wish i could say the same with 4 month old orange LC 6.5 pad that is in good condition . The pad has deteriated all away around the out side of the velcro. The velcro on my white polishing pad has totaly fallen apart and this pad is almost new and in good condition.

i'll have to, but i was pretty sure the megs were 6" with a 5" backing plate.
My Meguiar's pads are the W8006 and W9006, labelled as 6-1/2" pads and measure pretty close to that, but....
Meguiar's, in their never-ending quest to confuse me, (It's working), have foam pads in 5.5", 6", 6.5" and 8" sizes.

W8006 ....................6.5 <----

Some are for rotary use only.
