Just made my order for the 7424 PC bous kit from coastal. Can somebody tell e the other things Ill need such as pads. Also any tips on lkike the speeds and such and which pads to use.

Get some of the "finger" type pads. Here ya go:"Finger Pads"

You should have at least one good cutting pad, several polish pads and two finish pads. The more the better!



As for speeds, all depends on which product. DACP I run high up to 6 with a little pressure over the head of the PC for downward force to cut. I slow it down to 4 or 5 for polishes after DACP such as SFP or 3M PIII-MG with the white pad and very little downward pressure. On a finish pad, use it at 4 or slower and just control pressure depending again on what I'm doing. #81 Hand Polish or Menzerna-FP is used at that point. You can also use it for wax, sealants etc.
