You'll love their stuff....Once you try Poorboys you basically find the products that you've been looking for all along.

The PB folks are real good peeps and they make some very nice quality products.

On a dark vehicle I personally like the SSR2.5/SSR1/Black Hole/Natty's blue combo.

IMHO Using SSR1 brings up paint clarity after doing the paint correction with SSR2.5

SSR2.5 polish for paint correction
SSR1 polish for clarity after SSR2.5
Black Hole for fill, depth and gloss
Natty's Blue for protection and shine

Again, IMHO you need the SSR1 step after using SSR2.5 to bring out the paint clarity.
M105 is also an aggressive paint correction compound and requires M205 afterwards.

i was kinda hoping the ssr2.5 would take care of the megs 105. i honestly really do not want to use 105. i feel it may be over kill but i want it done right i dont want to just cover it up...i wish we could get a sunny day so i could post of picture of my problem.
ill also order some ssr1 in the next week or too. thanks for the advice :)

You may be able to correct alot with just the 2.5 depending on the condition of the paint. I agree with going back with SSR1 after the 2.5, which is why I like SSR2 a little better. Seems to give me the best of both worlds. 2.5 does cut better and will do just fine for removing the compounding swirls. My suggestions were based more on being within budget. I would start off with 2.5 and see what kind of correction you get from it. If its not enough, grab the 105.

Get the Polish with Carnauba White (great with gel coats lot of boat users)

And in the process of getting that you can also use that to finish down after the 2.5 so you don't have to buy the SSR1 if you don't want to (if the boss asks I didn't tell you haha :notme:)

You should like working with Poorboy's stuff especially if you're working outdoors in the direct sun. What polisher are you using?

Got my order way faster then I expected!!!! And I'm using a dewalt rotary. I'll be doing the buff next week just waiting on my body kit to be painted

IMO, SSR2.5 with rotary works best with a white polishing pad working it long enough to fully break it down. You should really have some sort of finishing polish to follow it with on a red pad for best results. PWS, Pro Polish, SSR2 or SSR1 all work well as a follow up to SSR2.5 If you don't have a finishing polish and don't want to place another online order with shipping, I recommend going to Wallyworld and getting some Meg's Ultimate Polish to finish down with a red pad for some added gloss and clarity.
