Hello from Ohio. I am not a new member but I have not posted that much. I just got my porter cable and poorboys kit from autogeek. My question is with all the rain in Ohio lately, I really don't want to spend time working on my car if it just rains everyday. Is there some sealant I should get once I use the pc and get the swirls out and after the rain will i still have the results I am looking for. How often do you guys use the pc? Basically just want to know if I should wait till the weather gets nicer or does it matter. Thanks Josh

Weather is about choice and disappointment. Swirl removal needs sun or the right lighting to work it out to your satisfaction. Make sure you car is coated with something as you work out the weather.

Don't dawdle.....Get that paint proptected. You can always take care of the swirls at a latter date.

Since I arrive at breakup time here in Alaska people that want their vehicles detailed always say that they want to wait until the weather gets better. I tell them that it is better to have the vehicle protected thru the spring breakup rather than waiting for better weather.

I would say the same for you. Get your vehicle inside and clean it up. If you have the PC then use the appropriate polishes to make the corrections on the paint that you deem necessary. Then put a good sealant on for protection followed by a good wax or another layer of sealant.

Let it rain and get dirty. All one needs to do after it is protected is to use a good wash regimen or waterless wash to keep it looking good followed by a QD of your choice. It really takes more commitment than it does time to keep your vehicle protected.

All good advice. Congratulations on the order. You have some great products and when used correctly PBs will provide you with the same great results others on the forum have acheived.

your going to love your pc. And just becasue its going to rain is no excuse to not detail the car, it makes the mud clean off easier. I would use SSR from pb and then top with exp. good luck with the pc you will love it

you can always try using a Xenon flashlight indoors/outdoors! I use one when it's not so nice outside to find any swirls

Thanks for the advice. I know I should go ahead and detail it and work on my paint, but it makes me mad when it rains the day after. But oh well. Its not always pretty outside in Ohio. I will take pictures hopefully and get them posted. thanks, Josh
