Hey guys. I finally got around to posting some pics. I just detailed my '95 LS400 and posted a few pics in the gallery. I used DACP w/ a PC to remove some swirls (there are still some left under flourescent lights). Then 3x Z5, 1x Z2, QD with Z6. This car was NEVER taken car of since July of 1995. Never waxed/sealed and only washed with 100 FAKE cotton towels. Thanks to Autopia, I finally have good results! :xyxthumbs Let me know what you guys think.

BTW. I'm going to detail my CLK today & tomorrow. I'll post pics when I'm done with it. :)

Edit: Here is the link to the gallery for easier access:

Looks great 500amg.

Great minds must think alike. I worked on my 94 yesterday ( Vanilla Moose and EX sealant on hood, top, bumpers and trunk). Sides treated with Souveran. BF II is still holding strong on sides after 3 months so I just topped with Souveran. Wife is happy. :bounce

blkZ28Conv,

Hows that EX working out? I am looking forward to trying some.

Cheers,

My Black 7 Series

AMP99,

I really love the EX. I have 5 layers after extensive prepping on now and would like to top with Souveran and P21S but the results are so good that I am not pressed to perform this effortless task. I started my own durability test on the EX on the LS400. Steve (Poorboy under-estimates the longevity to be ~4 mos.). The results seem to be a combination of the postives of Zaino and BFII with the ease of application and buffing of P21S and Souveran.

Here is a picture with just EX after meticulous prep. Not the best camera ( or photographer) but I think you will get the point.
