Just Clayed - need AIO?

I just clayed the areas of my car that I needed to. The surface is obviously nice and smooth. Do I need to apply AIO and then the SG; or can I just put the SG already. Also, I found some S100. How long do I have to wait before placing it on top of the SG?

just apply aio, then do sg. Aio applys right on and off, no need to wait to dry, will take u 15-20 min tops with wipe on and off procedure at most. make sure your pad is damp when applying it.

AIO makes for a great base for the SG. It will be easier to buff the SG off if you have the AIO on first. AIO is a real quick product to use too. Just put it on and buff it off before going to the next panel. You don't have to even wait between AIO and SG. If you have AIO then it would be best to use it. SG is part of a system and works best on top of AIO.

Yeah, definitely do AIO first. AIO has a different kind of "cleaning" job than clay does. This really isn't all that different from comparing claying to polishing and wondering if you need to do both. I'd wait at least a day or more before topping.

It depends on the surface. If you have heavy oxidation then a PC will speed the job up quite a bit. It can go on by hand though. Its a pretty easy product to work with. The thing a PC does is save time and muscle. If you are a wuss like me and don't have the strength to remove swirls by hand then a PC is a must. Using AIO by hand isn't tough work and you are just saving the time at that point. Pretty much anything liquid that goes on your car can be applied by PC and save you some time.
