didn't think I was getting up :passout:

Been there, done that and still got the hardware as a kind of rememberance. FYI, there are 3 bones in the ankle (I managed to take out all 3). I still remember talking on the phone with you a product order pre (or was it post?) surgery knowing that it was going to be roughly 8 weeks before I was going to get to use the products.

Ouch! I was an idiot just over a year ago and I jumped over a bush and didnt see the curb and landed on the side of my right foot and my ankle swelled up like a balloon. No break, but I couldnt walk for 3 weeks. I hope you heal fast! I feel your pain. Best wishes!

thanks guys ... Pockets just came by with some ice packs , and a walker :bigups

now if i can get some rest :rolleyes:

ankle and foot are very swollen and turning black and blue :(

Well that would be good news if you can stand on it then it is probably not broken just badly sprained.
Time to start acting your age.
Hope you are walking soon and don't worry. we won't try to talk pockets into a big sale while you are laid up.

thanks .. but i can't stand on it ..the walker is something to lean on until I get crutches tomorrow ... I do need to make it to the bathroom and hopping and a cane just didn't cut it ... I'll be in the office tomorrow to keep an eye on Pockets :D

Gosh, I am sorry to hear of this, Steve. Mobility is an important part of the human condition. Walkers and crutches are the new tools that you will need these next few weeks. Use them and do not put weight on your foot too soon.

Stay off your feet as much as possible. Keep your foot elevated and relax. Plus the ice and meds that others have mentioned. It won't get better quicker by ignoring the need to stay immobile.

Sorry to hear that ankle injuries are the most annoying. Hopefully you didn't burger it up too bad.
