Buddy of mine got a hold of a new GTI. It looked great. Really great actually. Maybe enough to even think about VW R32's. Anyways, he brought it by to get detailed. The paint was really clean, except he had a lot of marring. The car only has like 35miles. Goes to show why you NEVER let the dealer do your new car prep...
Job was simple and fun. Took all but 2.5 hours.

Wash w/ Megs Gold Class
Clay with Mothers
Polish with Menzerna PO106ff via Grey pad @ 1500rpms
Waxed with Clearkote Moose Wax
Trim cleaned and dressed with Poorboys Trim Restorer
Wheel sealed with Poorboys Wheel Sealant
Tires dressed with Zaino Z16
Fenderwells got hit with Meguiars Hyper Dressing 4:1

Now that is a nice turn around. I appreciate the half and half shots. Dealer installed swirls are a pain. Another detail where the owner should be happy!!

I like the GTI's a lot. They are actuall pretty big inside and the shifts are smooth.

Really good quality with everything, and everything inside is perfectly set within reach.

I beg for them.. LOL... They really sell the detail with their befores and afters.

I still don't have the customer base I would like. I would atleast like to be doing 4 cars a week minimum... Thus far I have scored 3.
