My friend's 96' 750IL just got back from the body shop after installing some body kits and new wheels. The only time the car was ever applied any protectant was the beginning of this year. Other than that, it was never taken care of.

Took both of us 9 hours to get the car done. He used klasse before and he felt that it produced a "plasticky" finish and thats why i decided to let him try Zaino. He was definetely impressed with the shine, reflectivity and clarity that Zaino was able to produced.

Thank you for the compliment Lee. The previous generation 7 series definetly blow the current 7 series away. The older generation was a lot more sport and slicker.

SpoiledMan:

Yes, the 20" definetely help with the ride :D . Too bad the car ain't mine.

every time I watch THE TRANSPORTER I want one of those cars. (I know it is a differet model)..

The car looks very good. Very nice detail!

yep! :xyxthumbs

My Dad has had 2 740il's, so I know those cars pretty well. They are alot of fun to work on, but have alot of black trim.

I remember seeing a 750ila at a dealership in Sacramento. All black. The "a" is the armored package. Resists small arms fire. Run-flat tires, self sealing gas tank, intercom system. For some reason they didn't come with sunroofs. It was $160,000 or close to it. Oh yeah, the "a" only appears on the literature, they don't include it on the back badging.

beau: As far as I know, the "a" stands for "automatic"...as in the transmission.

I looked over a Bimmer sales sheet once and every model that didn't say "a" after it's last letter, was standard shift.

I could be wrong though :nixweiss

All that glimmering black paint wrapped around that terrific bodywork enclosing BMW's V12 engine looks dynamite! :xyxthumbs

You know, you might be right. I saw the sticker and assumed the a was for armoured. It did have the armour package, which I understand is now a factory option on 7 series and S class sedans, as previously it had been only available in the aftermarket. I want one!

Here's one with a "pepper spray system"; cool!

X-Trail, sorry if I'm wrong, but how come I see uneven reflection on the boot lid? How do you keep your car in dentless condition throughout many years?
