I don't know how I got looking at the Jescar website, and this was mentioned in passing in this thread https://www.autopia.org/threads/what-pad-for-the-extra-fine-polishing-step.193541/ , but Jescar has a lot of compounds/polishes and no real "rating" system that I can find. These are the products they have:

These have a sanding grit removal level on the label, so I guess these are pretty self explanatory, now that I've typed them out, except for the two that are the same:

Heavy Cut Compound (1200 grit)
Correcting Compound (1500 grit)
Medium Polish (2500 grit)
Fine Polish (3000 grit)
Micro Finishing Polish (3000 grit)

I just can't really figure out where these fit in:

Performance Cut Compound
All-in-One Polish and Wax

I guess the Fine Polish and Micro Finishing Polish are probably the same as or very similar to SF3500 and SF3800, which are both cut/gloss 3/10.

Thinking that the Menzerna line might help me figure this out, I found out things are as confusing as ever over there, but that the Performance Cut Compound might be something like SIP/Medium 2400, or I guess it could be like Cut Force Pro, which seems to be the be-all, end-all of polishes, and which I guess I will start a separate thread about: https://www.autopia.org/threads/menzerna-cut-force-pro.193544/
