Some of the hottest cars you'll ever see, or may not see. I see no reason for any introduction, other then "total shock an awe".....

Over 150 combined (How many millions is that?) I finally had to put the camera down so i could enjoy the sights and sounds, but some additional appearances were made by, Enzo, Ford GT, 430's, Maranellos, Modenas, 360's just about every Carrera manufactured, Gallardos, Diablos, Marciallago, SLR McLaren, Vipers, even a SRT-10. Just to name a few......Anyway, here ya go........I mean its one thing to see them, but to hear all of these is WOW................

On a lighter note, i was invited to attend this event (obviously not participate, and you dont really need an invitation) from the client i detailed for yesterday who was participating. Besides being in total awe for several hours, I happened upon chance of meeting a professional detailer who details only upper end vehicles. We shared the same concrete real estate before beaking the ice and admitting, we detailed for one or two (him) vehicles in the event. Mike, if your listening, the pleasure was truelly mine. To be detailing by hand for 25 years, only the finest European autos is truelly inspiring, and I look forward to having that drink with you at Enriques, soon....We chatted all the while these cars were leaving, in escort by the Ca. Highway Patrol, for 40-50 miles along the Ventura Highway to an unknown destination in Santa Barbara County.

So, this guy you met has been detailing 100% by hand for 25 years? That's pretty amazing! Did he say what products he uses? Swirl removal must be a MAJOR PITA for him.

Yes, by hand! But before you get all excited, he doesnt really deal with a lot of "issues" that we "normal" detailers deal with, i.e. swirls, scratches, and oxidation problems.... he really caters to cars for shows and garage queens (Believe it or not, even cars kept in climate controlled trailers and "guest houses". He uses, well, he mentioned One Grand products (which I agree, dont get much attention), but he has some secrets he didnt want to convey, and for good reason. (OK he shared one) His claim to fame is bringing paint alive with a few tricks of the trade he has developed and or learned over the years. (And I promised not to share, although I do mention one quite frequently when dealing with stubborn oil residues after final wipedowns. Although our intentions are identical, his technique is different). I always prefer warming the surface up after a sealant removal by letting the sun have it for about 10 minutes, he has a different method which I found rather odd, but it makes total sense. He was even willing to discuss opening a shop together, but we let that subject rest and watched the show. It will be interesting to see if we can stay in contact. You know how things happen......

I think we both found each other a little intriguing.

We swapped business cards, shook hands and said "see you soon".....

Oooh what it must be like to live in Cali - - I can't even imagine.

I would love to know what jobs these people have :eek:Simply amazing

Wow, only in California! What exactly was the occasion for this get together? It sounds like this gent you met hasn't had it rough like most of us! Great photos, thanks for sharing them with us.

To support the Cal Highway Patrol. You invest a rather large sum, (Well not for these car owners) you get a sticker stating you support the CHP's eforts, and its like an e-ticket at Disneyland. Put the sticker in the window and your chances are good for not getting written up if your ever pulled over (unless your a smart ***). The CHP litterally closes all on ramps throughout the procession.

Very nice! I see a Michigan plate on that Audi and the car looks familiar.

It wouldnt surprise me, there were quite a few out of towners, and that RS4 is an incredible Audi...........

wow, that's surprising. Being California, you'd think they'd get pulled over for some type of vague "emissions" law :chuckle:

One thing immediately jumped out at me in this thread. Look at the idiot in the brand new exotic Benz with a cigarette dangling out of his mouth. Yeah, smoke in your supercar. Moron.
