Janitorial Supply Houses

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
I've posted this before about using janitorial places for some supplies...this last week I stopped in at one here in the local area...

They have a lot of things that we use in detailing ...the best thing is that its in larger sizes like gallons and up...Pricing is real good IMO

Degreasers...real heavy cutting stuff that you can dilute to many different levels..

I brought this one, gallon for 12 bucks

Buckeye International - XL-100™ Heavy-Duty Cleaner/Degreaser

Citrus cleaners of all sorts...that can be used straight or mixed with water

Brushes a plenty I like the toilet brushes two kinds the standard one that everyone has but these are made real sturdy and the second is a long straight one that is round that you can bend the metal to any shape that you like....but they have all kinds of them to choose from.

Aerosol air fresheners (bombs) are real cheap and come in a variety of scents

Scrub pads for various uses and in all kinds of grit

Soaps for car washing...I don't but mine there but its available if I needed it

Glass cleaners, throw away gloves, paper towels, MF towels, etc.

I know that we all have our suppliers that are our go to...online, OTC, big box stores, etc....All I am saying is if you have one of these in your area have a look you will be surprised by what they have for detailing:D

Good post, I never think of these type of places...But you are right there are many things here that you can apply to detailing.

I was able to tell the salesman at Zep who made some of his automotive stuff (AutoMagic clay-had the patent #'s and all inside the Zep jar! :D )

You can also get the huck/surgical towels for glass from these types of stores too sometimes.

Don't these places usually have good deals on extractors?

The place that I go to has a bunch of them...I didn't look at them but they had a whole showroom area with them and buffers and such...I plan on looking at them the next time in
