I've been lurking around Autopia forever, as well as a few of the other resources, yet, I've never REALLY introduced myself to everyone.
It wasn't until I went to SEMA this last week and REALLY got to see first hand just what an amazing COMMUNITY this industry really has. I left thinking to myself that I really want to be a part and contribute to it
I'm Grant Liban, out of St. George, Utah, and own Renu Auto out here. I'm usually running around anywhere from here to Salt Lake, to Las Vegas for clients. I'm not an industry expert by any means, but the things I've learned from Autopia, it's members and write ups are worth more than gold.
I feel like the luckiest guy in the world getting to work with some of the cars I do. I usually post a photo each day of what I'm doing that day at the company's page:
Welcome to Facebook
I also have some video's and pics of some of the results I've got on cars past on my detailing page at:
St. George Auto Detail St. George Car Detail St. George Detailer Mesquite NV Car Detailing Las Vegas Detailing Las Vegas Auto Detailer
I feel lucky to have such great resources like Greg Nicoles and others in my phone book that I always feel like I can call for advice if I'm in a tight spot. (btw, sorry Greg our timing was awful all week at SEMA! Maybe you should make a golfing trip down to Stg here soon
I hope that I can do the same for the community that they've done for me. Getting to meet Mike Phillips, do an interview this week with Mel Craig, and pick Jeff Brown's brain at the Meguiars booth for half an hour this week was more valuable to me than I ever imagined.
Do we have a page here on Autopia for each other's personal and company' facebook pages? I think it'd be a great way too keep up to date (in addition to Autopia) to what everyone's working on and up to.
Thanks again to all those that took the time to make Autopia, and the industry as a whole, what it is :wavey
