Just wondering if it would pay for me to buy the flex? What are the benefits? Are there any other guys in my situation that bought the flex?

The PC and flex are similiar, the flex is much more powerful than the PC. The flex will not correct as much as a rotary will. My answer was to keep my rotary, buy a flex and sell the PC.

Hmm... i might buy a flex sometime cus when i went at my 1st "expensive" car with the rotary i always get a little nervous but it quickly goes away. I may just get it for special cases that need almost no swirl removal and exotics and such.... idk... we will see.

D&D Autp Detail...not sure if your post is a typo but A Flex CAN burn thru paint...just like a PC CAN!! No matter how many people say an orbital can burn thru, they are soo wrong. Many people here have, but most won't admit it...

re-read his post

I "thought" I knew all about the PC till I switched from 6.5" pads to 5.5" low profile pads - talk about a BIG difference! Those little suckers really gave the PC some balls.

Are you giving up your rotary JuneBug? Just Kidding!

In what situations do you find yourself using a PC with these pads?

Speaking of 4" pads, I sometimes find they're just the right size for certain jobs. IIRC a Flex won't take 4" pads, at least not at present. Might be worth considering...
