It's nice to have a wife who understands...

She goes to car shows with me 2-3 times a week.

She puts up with my obsessive compulsive behavior of having all the dash vents lined up and dust-free.

She understands my anal retentive passion for detailing cars.

She doesn't care that I have to clean the car windows before we go anywhere.

And she still fixes me lunches like this.

Love you Pam!!!!

Please advise as to when your wife will be teaching classes to other wives on being patient while hubby is detailing?

I'd like to reserve the first spot for Mrs. User Name.

Idk if its the detailer in me but first thing I thought when I saw that sandwich was that the bread looks just like a CCS pad :D hahaha

Wow, turkey AND ham?

My wife is much the same (re: putting up with me and my car) and still makes me a similar lunch (but only only ham)...over 33 years.

After I polished her "moonlit blue" garage queen and waxed with Fuzion, she has a greater appreciation for my "disease".

Regards,
GEWB

Dang thats a good deal Luster. The future Mrs. usually will take care of me for lunch when I am detailing. That and I can usually get her to do the interior when I am working on her truck.

I did have one customer make me lunch once. I even took a picture of it. Ill have to dig it out on my camera.

That's a great lunch for sure and how lucky you are that your wife makes her own bread and can make it look like a CCS pad .I have to settle with good old rye bread

:D:D:D LOL!!! I laughed so hard I had lemonade running out my nose!!!!

Only a detailer could see that.

(Actually that IS a CCS pad!!!):rofl::rofl:
Never know she may be onto something new.Send one to Todd and have him do a full write on it and post how well Megs105 works with them.

My wife accepts my detailing OCD, but she is having a tough time with our 4 year old. He has his own special wash mitts and buckets, his own detail sprays (car wash soap and water), and 'special' microfibers that cannot touch the ground. Him and I argue over who gets to use the foam gun. :D

He has learned how to clay bar and is bugging me to let him use the PC7424.

When he was two, he used his toy Craftsmen grinder/ buffer on his Tonka dump truck and said he was "buffing like Daddy". I think I still have burn marks from the 'look' I got that day.

My wife thinks he is going to be worse than me......:out:

She does appreciate at all the work, though, and loves it when the doctors at her work compliment her truck and the hospital security make special rounds to keep an eye on her 'perfect truck'. She will even ask for another coat of Zaino on the windshield because the bugs are sticking. :D

Yay for good women!
