Is 'Wax Daddy' for real?

I've seen his name mentioned a few times on here and watched several of his youtube videos; he can't be serious with his idea of 'detailing', can he

its funny ive seen his videos on you tube.. remember with any fancy hyped up marketing you can sell anything...

i like the on video of of him showing how to wash a car. and he dips this huge bath towel in a bucket of soap .then slams it down on the hood:grinno::grinno:

The product appears to be loaded with oils and fillers, and they claim it's better than Souveran in one of the videos. They apply it to oxidized vehicles to make them "like new", etc. I was shaking my head as I watched some of the cleaning methods - old rags/towels, dawn, using your fingers to clean off what you missed on the wheels, etc. Interesting approach!

Still not as bad as the Expert Village car wash videos, though. They use tire shine on the dash, which so far is the worst advice I've seen.

UPDATE: You have to see the interior cleaning videos. Direct quote: "This is going to look a little crazy to you, but we need to get these rugs a little damp. We're going to get these a little...a little misty, a little damp, that's it, just like that." HE SPRAYS THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR WITH A HOSE WHILE SAYING THIS. :chuckle:

There's too much to tell you all the great parts. It's located here:

its like, not all of his info is bad, some of it is informed, you just doesnt use autopian techniques.

i think its a blend of old and new school style of detailing.

just nowhere near the level of work all of us do here. Its hard to watch those vids and not cringe

its funny because i read if you want to become a distributer of this stuff the package comes with a marketing dvd...:chuckle:id love to see that ..and what they tell you to try to sell this stuff..
